I help authors transform their stories into immersive worlds free of errors. Think of me as your detail-oriented potato, crashing out over every plot twist, proposing marriage to the MMCs, and boosting your confidence with one (unhinged) commentary at a time.
How it started
In 2014, I began as a volunteer beta reader, giving honest reader feedback. One author noticed my attention to detail and asked me to proofread all of her future books.
Working with Entangled
In 2019, I connected with someone at Entangled Publishing, and I expressed my interest in becoming a freelance proofreader.
Since then, I’ve polished several books, including fan favorites such as Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros and Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry.
About the Editor
I found books when I needed an escape. The first book that turned me into a bookworm was Marked by P.C. and Kristen Cast. I loved it so much that I had to read the entire series, then moved on to Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. I went through genre phases, from YA, historical, erotica, contemporary, paranormal, fantasy, and more. One thing I learned was that I always enjoy it when there was romance in the story. Nowadays, I am most likely to read a book for fun if it has smut in it.
I am a lover of matcha and hojicha lattes, and yes, I do the whole ritual, but no, I don't use an excessive amount of powder to make my drinks. I usually prefer them hot, but I occasionally would drink them iced. When I'm not editing, I'm probably designing new products for my stationery shop, or learning to sing a new song, or playing mobile games—it's really an addiction at this point.
I am neurodivergent, and I very much relate to Shane Hollander from Heated Rivalry. Speaking of, I am obsessed with the TV show and will find a way to bring it up in any conversation, similar to what I'm doing now. My heart belongs to Ilya Rozanov.
